Federal Law on Fees for Consular Services

Please note that with effect from 1.10.2021, the new Bundesgebührengesetz (BGebG) [Federal Law on Fees for Consular Services] will be applicable for all attestations or other consular services offered by the German diplomatic missions worldwide.

As per the new Law, the copies will be individually attested and not bundled together.

For the attestation of each individual page, the fee will be 24.37 Euro or INR 2,064 (rounded off to 2,060 INR) as per the current exchange rate.

If you are intending to get 10 pages attested, for example, the fee will be 243.70 Euro or 20,600 Rupees. The copies(grayscale only) will be taken by the consular office and you need to bring only the original documents with you.
